Jan 5

Elder Feidler
Hi from home. There were a lot of fireworks in our neighborhood on New Year's Eve.  We didn't buy any but went outside at midnight and watched a few.  Zack and Maddie went to a stake dance and afterwards went over to President Scott's house for a pancake breakfast. They didn't get home until 3 AM!

I hope you are having a great week. I have been fasting today for you and pray that you will have great success with investigators and your companionship.   Next week is our special stake conference. We are expecting some kind of changes to affect our ward.

Church has been keeping me busy with end-of-year stuff and tithing settlement and I'm sure next week's changes will keep me busy too.

I have had a sore throat for most of the week and now just a few cold symptoms. Zack is feeling sick today. It rained a lot here recently and has been pretty cool. I'm about ready for summer to come back.

Here we are at church today.

Last Sunday my brother Larry stopped by and brought me a pencil drawing he had bought from an artist at Cruising the Coast last year. I made a copy of it and Zack and I have been coloring it.

We went shopping at Kirkland's yesterday day and found out Myka likes to lay down on dog beds!
She is tough to go shopping with because she likes to run off or start crying. So at Walmart we had to bribe her with a donut and that seemed to work for a while.

I've made some upgrades to our home decor. I added LED lights to the back of some letters from Hobby Lobby. And they change colors with a remote too!
So our house looks a lot different with all the decorating we have done since you left.  Not sure you will recognize it. Lol

I hope you have had a great week. It's one more week until transfers right?   I get worried that you might go to a bike area.  My last transfer on my mission was to Hartlepool England. It was right on the coast of the North Sea!  And I was on a bicycle. First time on my mission to be on a bike. I was cold and wet and lots of fun. I bought that bike used from the previous Elder for 25 pounds. It's back brakes did not work because the wheel was so out of round. My companion liked to ride at a 100 miles an hour. I couldn't hardly keep up. About 4 days into my new area I wrote in my journal that on our ride back home that evening a bunch of guys were in front of a shop and they threw rocks at us and yelled and screamed at us. It was a close call. This is a pic of my companion in that area. We road in the rain a lot.
I spent my last two months of my mission in this area and had lots of success.

Keep working hard and you will be blessed. Did you have a good meeting with the mission president on Friday?

We love you lots!  Make it a great week!  Write in your journal and take pictures in the area.

Luv,
Dad, Chelle, Zack, Maddie and Myka

Graham:
Family,
It has been a much better week. Elder Egan and I have been able to have more communication which has cleared up all conflicts and concerns. The interview with president went fantastic. President Bonham is truly amazing and has so much charity. Yesterday at church we only had Jessica there for non members BUT we had 7 less actives there! One of which bore her testimony and one of the others signed up to feed us 3 days in a row! Jessica is still struggling with smoking. It'll probably be a while before she has enough faith to try to quite smoking again.

Today at Wal-Mart I found a thing of Slap Ya Mama! Not much else is new here. We taught 10 lessons last week! We also found several more potentials to go see this week.

love and miss ya'll

Dad:
Yay! Slap Yo Mama!!

I got a phone call last night from a Sister Jones.  She expressed how impressed she was with you.  Said you were the best missionary!  I was so happy to receive such a phone call.  You are doing a great job!  This is just proof of it. We are super proud of you!!!!!!

Great to here the less actives are coming out!  Keep working with them.  They usually need just a little help to realize what they have been missing.

I have lost 4 lbs since the 1st of Jan! I need  to lose 30 more. Chelle and I are on a diet here.

We love and miss you lots!  Try to stay dry.  It looks a little wet there today.  Take lots of pictures in case you get transferred next week.

Love,
Dad
