Jan 26

Dad:
Elder Feidler,
Hello from home. This past Monday I got to watch a short preview of Maddie's play "Little Shop of Horrors."  Here she is getting down in an older lady outfit and wearing a hat in the back. This coming weekend they will perform the play. She has practice everyday until then. It goes to 8pm at night so she is busy!!!

The little preview of the play looked great. I will go to the Saturday night showing of it since I will be out of town Wednesday through Saturday morning at the Little Tikes sales meeting in New Orleans.

We also went to the new car show on Thursday with Grandma & Grandpa. Here is Myka playing with an engine display at the Subaru area.

Chelle left Maddie and me alone with Myka one evening so we had fun and made this fine turban for her head out of a scarf.

Church was good today.  We had 200 people in attendance.  I learned from one of the talks that it is about now that most people quit on their New Years resolutions. I'm still hanging in there on mine. I have lost 11 lbs so far since Jan 1st. But I'm still way heavier than when you left.

It's finger puppet time at church. Sometimes it is hard to keep Myka quiet so these help.

How's the new area?  Are you getting your shoes worn in?  Do you walk mostly?  How long do you expect to be in a 3 pack?  Time is flying by!!

I scheduled a hotel room for us in Rexburg on Thursday and Friday in April. The Marriott I wanted to stay at was already full. I figure we will leave early on Wednesday April 15th, maybe 4 AM and drive til 6 or 7 pm, spend the night in Colorado and then drive the rest of the way on Thursday and spend Thursday night in Rexburg.  Then Friday we can get you into the apartment and checked into school. Saturday morning I will take the Salt Lake Express back to the SLC airport and you will be on your own!

I'm not too sure you will want to work a job your first semester back. You might just wait until the next January to work at school. I think your school load will be pretty heavy and you will need to concentrate. Of course if you are overwhelmed by the degree choice you could always drop classes and add others in the first 10 days.  Or just drop a class or two to make the load lighter. I'm sure you will be able to accomplish whatever you set your mind to!

Pretty exciting next few months!  I hope you have found some new people to teach. We are praying for you lots!!  Keep up the good work. Eat healthy and smile!  Look for service opportunities. I would think the 3 or you could provide lots of service. The town you are serving in made national news last October because a high school student shot and killed four friends and then himself in the school cafeteria. I imagine the town has a lot of healing to do from this. Be sensitive and keep this in mind. You can be a light in the darkness.

We love and miss you lots!
Love,
Dad

Graham:
Family!
It has been a great week here. We have seen lots of miracles as we have been contacting everyone on the streets. Elder Jankowski's blood levels were really good this past week. We have dinner with our stake president tonight and with all of the other missionaries in the zone. College. I would like to start the semester with all of the necessary classes for the degrees first semester. I'll email the school today. Our sacrament attendance was slightly higher this week and I was one of the speakers. I lost my note card with what I'd talk about right before it was my turn but I still spoke for 20 mins. :) I might of called the ward to repentance on the subject of Sabbath day and football. We had ran a poll the day before of what everyone's favorite thing to do was on Sundays. #1 was football #2 was church and #3 was sleeping. Today we get to go shopping at WinCo, a super cool grocery store. We also have planned getting my bike fixed, getting a haircut, and cleaning! PRODUCTIVE P-DAYS

I love and miss ya'll

Dad: Awesome!  Street contacting can be fun.  It's sunny and nice here today.  What's the weather there?  Maybe you need to play football today too. :-)

Graham: Haha! It's a sunny nice day here too! Mom was talking about flying up here to pick me up from my mission?

What do I need to say in my email to the Engineering Department? Just This?
Engineering Department,
I would like to change my declared major from Associate Degree in Applied Science - Engineering to
a BS - Mechanical Engineering.

Dad: That sounds good for what to say. Maybe add "Please make this change. Thank You."

That would be cool if your mom goes out there.  I hope it doesn't delay you getting home though....  Not sure what she could do with you as you are still set apart as a missionary until you get home and get released by the stake president.

I guess she can talk to the mission office and see.  If your still in a 3 pack maybe they would let her take you a day or two early and run around and visit old areas?
Not sure if you have to be with a Melchezadek priesthood holder as a comp?

I just want you home on the 6th!  We miss you.
