Dear Elder Grandson,
How has your week gone? I hope you have had lots of people to
teach and good weather to track in. I looked awhile ago and Marysville
was 61 degrees. That seems to be warm for this time of year. We had
69 or 70 ourselves. The sun is shining all week here and we really need
it. We have had a lot of rain and can't walk in the yard with all the
standing water.
Well, Grandpa is 77 today. We went to church and then Larry and
Kim met us at the Road House to eat. Aiden and Andi spent the night and
went to church with us. I think they really liked it. Andi once
made the comment that she wished they always went to our church.
We had a great time at the new car show in Houston on
Thursday. We spent a lot of time running after Myka. I know she really
liked it.
This week is get ready for the cruise week!! Got to pack and
organize. We are going over on Friday and stay at a hotel near the
airport. We have had some bad fog in the mornings so I want to be close
by and not have to drive in it. We leave at 5:20 am on Saturday morning and fly
to Miami. We are really looking forward to it.
We are so proud of the mission you are serving. What a
wonderful time of your life serving the Lord. We are praying for your
success in finding those waiting to hear the gospel. I hope your
companion with diabetes can get it under control. Carry hard candy or orange
juice with you at all times. With all the exercise you are getting he
really should eat every two hours. I guess you know that already.
All for now. We can't write next week. We will be thinking and
praying for you.
Love you lots,
(Old) Grandpa & Grandma
