Grandma & Grandpa - Jan 19

Dear Elder Grandson,
Another week has gone by! We all have been so anxious to hear from you or someone to tell us where you are now.  Where are you?????
The weather has turned around for us and it is so nice to see the sun. I see where you are going to have sun for a few days. Your temperatures are what we had been having when it is cold.  Do you have a good winter coat still?  You are never wearing one and your companion is. I sure pray that you are in a car.
We have had another busy week.  Mainly going to doctor appointments, then on Friday Grandpa and I had shots put in our back to get rid of some of the pain.  It seems to have helped a lot. I went walking in the Mall on Monday and started hurting so when we went to the doctor on Tuesday I decided to have the shots so I wouldn't get laid up on the cruise we're going on in two weeks. Now I have to go to a diabetes doctor tomorrow to help with high blood sugar after the steroid shots. It is a vicious circle when you get old.
Saturday we had so much fun. We went to Aiden and Andi's basketball games.  Aiden did real good and it was a fast moving game and then we went to Andi's.  She is the age where they are just starting to play and learn the game.  We had 45 minutes of laughing and excitement. The girls were all so cute and funny. It just made you feel good to laugh and see all the fun they have.
Church as good today.  We have so many people coming that we don't know.  There are a lot of visitors and the missionaries are getting investigators to come too.  We are feeding them again on Tuesday. This time will be the Mid County Missionaries instead of Port Arthur that we fed last week.
Not much else going on here. We need to stay home and wash the car but more doctors this week.
Can't wait to hear all the good news from you.  We love you and pray for you and the work you are doing.
I hope the libraries are open tomorrow so you can write.  It is Martin Luther King Day.
Love you lots,

Grandpa & Grandma
