Dear Elder Grandson,
We are so happy you are doing so well with teaching members and
investigators. You are an awesome missionary. Keep up the good work. How
did this past week go? Conference was really great this weekend. We
have only watched two sessions. One Saturday and this morning. I have
them all recorded so will catch up tomorrow.
So your companion will finally be going overseas. I bet he is so
happy. You two have been working together pretty well, haven't you?
I hope your new companion will be a good one.
That was funny about the car representative and backing
up. Keep your good sense of humor.
We went to Winnie yesterday for the Winnie Rice Festival. We
took the red Camaro and went with friends from the car club. Then today
we had to finish trimming the trees out in front of house for trash day
tomorrow. Grandpa trimmed the one tree in the back on Wednesday and it
was hot and he was way up in the tree and wasn't sure if he could make it down.
He was wondering if I needed to call the fire department to get him down.
He did get down but found out he can't trim trees. We got the neighbor's
son who is now an adult. He did a great job in about one hour and 45
minutes but he could only do it today. We also got the bell and pole
painted. We really got a lot done this week. I hope this week will be
productive too.
Well, not much else going on here. We are so proud of the work you
are doing and miss you a lot. Time is going fast. Christmas will be
here before we know it. Wow, then we get to talk to you again.
Love you,
Grandpa & Grandma
