Where are the weeks going? October is about over and we
haven't gotten much done in this beautiful weather. How was your week? I
hope you are teaching lessons and finding new investigators. We think of
you often, out doing the Lord's work. This past week was a bad weather week
there and it looks like this week you will have rain everyday. I hope
the members are still taking you to appointments and that you have dinner
appointments. We pray for you every day. I hope you can feel all
the prayers that are being said for you.
Well, the man that was supposed to help Grandpa this week didn't
show up after he came and talked to him and they agreed on a wage. So we
didn't get the awning done to be ready for painting this week. I just
don't know if it is all going to get done this year. This week is doctors
week again. Then next Saturday we leave for Branson, MO.
My back or hip starting bothering me on Thursday. I guess I
have to go to the doctor to see what is wrong. I can hardly walk after
sitting awhile. Grandpa goes in Wednesday for a shot in his back again.
Last night was the Marine Corps Ball. It was very nice and probably the most fancy and beautiful thing I and all who attended had ever
seen. I have attached pictures from it. The second picture is
the General, who spoke and his wife. Very nice people.
Did you get our package?
All for now. Keep up the good work. May you be blessed
for all you do.
We Love You Lots,
Grandpa & Grandma
