Grandma & Grandpa - Sep 29

Dear Elder Grandson,
Well, how did your week go in Monroe, WA?  We hope it was a productive week. Last week sounded like you got a lot of people taught.  You are really working hard. I wonder if past missionaries did that well in your area.  Is the car still going?

We have had a good week around here.  We got the two storm doors up in the back of the house and the touchup painting done on them.  We had to paint the burn pit area twice because I didn't like the paint color we picked out.  We went back to Sherwin Williams and got a darker color and painted it and the stepping stones and now it is a good color. If we just keep working on things we will slowly get what needs to be done here before winter.  We thought we had a helper to come this past week but he didn't show up.  We can't seem to find anyone that will work.

We had a good time at your house last week.  We all went to eat for Maddie's birthday at a place like Genghis Grill.  It was good.  Zack wasn't working so we all got to go.  We missed you, but you are where you should be.  There will be other birthdays.  We didn't go over for Chelle's birthday today.  I think her family was all coming and we were just there Monday.  Myka is so loving.  She finally really knows who Grandpa and I are.  She gives the best hugs and kisses.  She just needs some more hair!

We are all fine here.  Grandpa's back is hurting him again and will probably go for another shot in his back soon.  We are just so tired of working on this house. I slept 2 hours today after church so I probably won't sleep tonight.  Sunday is my catch up day.  I really should have been working on geneology.  They said today that so much has changed on Family Search and makes it so easy to find ancestors and combine them to your tree.  I need a lot of time to do it cause it really interests me.

When do you think you will be able to get ipads?
We were thinking of sending a package to you. Is there anything you would like?  When are transfers? I wouldn't think you would get transferred next month though, it should be your companion.

Well, I can't think of anything else.  Stay busy and happy doing the Lords work. We are proud of you.
I am sending a picture of Maddie's dinner from ipad separate.
We love you lots,
Grandpa & Grandma

Grandma and Grandpa,
This week had it's bumpy parts but reflecting back at the end it was good. Our mission car has been in the shop and has been repaired. That's terrible to hear that you can't find anyone to help with the projects around the house.

Transfers are in two weeks. I probably won't get transferred because my companion finally got his visa to Brazil after 13 months. We heard from the mission president that Ipads for our mission have now been moved to 2015 some time so I don't think I'll have the opportunity to use one on my mission. That's okay though because I still have fingers that do a great job knocking on doors and writing things down on paper.

Yesterday was the primary program for our ward. As the kids stood up to sing a song tears came to my eyes thinking about how proud the parents were of their kids and how true it is that families can be together forever! :)

Love and miss ya'll,
-Elder Graham Feidler
