Dear Elder Grandson,
How has your week gone? We are all anxious to hear from you
and see how the new companion is going. Where is he from and how long has
he been out? Hope you had a great week and can work with your new companion.
Your weather seems to be pretty good temperature wise and not too much
rain. Hope you are staying dry.
Did you get the package we sent you? Hope you can eat the goodies
we sent. Tell us what you liked and didn't like so we will know what to
send next time. Do you like the pork beef jerky? That is the first
grandpa had seen so he sent you one.
Your Dad's birthday was Friday. He was 45. We didn't
go over but understand he ate a lot and had a good day.
We are having really nice weather here. We haven't had any
rain for a week and this week we shouldn't. Grandpa finally got a man to
come tomorrow to help him do some things around here. We hired a painter
to paint the big awning behind the house and Grandpa has to get the rust killed
before he starts next week. Little by little we are getting a few more
things done. We are really getting tired.
The Marine Corps Ball is Saturday night. Grandpa sold two
tables for it. Our table is all LDS people. Should be fun. Then on
the 1st of November we are leaving for Branson, Missouri to meet my cousin
and spend about 4 days there. We can use some R&R.
Well, I can't think of anything else going on here. Always
remember we are so proud of you and the sacrifices you are making and love you
very much.
Hugs,
PS Send picture to your Dad, we love to see you. We will
send some of the Ball next week.
