Elder Feidler,
I hope this has been a great week and a great fast Sunday. Any investigators make it to church today?  We got a new missionary in our ward that is Chinese.  It was funny because one of the less active newish converts has not been making it out to church because she says she is taking a Mandarin language class on Sunday. Well now we have an Elder that can speak it and help her out! So you never know why you are sent somewhere to wait for a visa.

Eric Tonnini was made an Elder today and he is preparing to go on a mission.

The Sister Missionary that said someone in her ward was from Pearland is correct. It is the Browns (Rachelle and Aaron). They just moved out there. Chelle told them to keep an eye out for you.

This past week has flown by. Maddie was busy with a choir workshop on Friday and Saturday up at U of H. Zack has been working and the both have been getting little sleep with seminary.

We have been getting some rain. Right now it is raining and the power has gone out. Not complaining though as the yard can use the water.

Chelle's new interest is in organic foods and better eating. We went Saturday morning to a couple of farmer's markets and bought some figs and brown yard eggs. Do you get to eat eggs from the chickens where you live now?  Have your tastes changed since being on your mission? Do you eat eggs now?

This week I decided to teach Maddie to ride the scooter!  She did a few laps on our street and is pretty good.

There was only one small incident when she came to a stop and it leaned over too far one way.  She sat it down on the right side and a yellow reflector came off.

Maddie is also learning French in school. She likes French.

Myka likes to play and fall onto the pillows and blankets on our bed because they offer such a soft landing. The other morning Chelle brought her into our bed and Myka was standing up then she fell face first right into my hip that was covered by blankets. She started screaming and had bitten her tongue. She pretty much put a hole through her tongue and it was bleeding. She's fine now. She is just so adventurous. Today she was climbing up on chairs in Priesthood and walking from one chair to the next. I think she looks like quite the bruiser in this picture.

I got the classic Mini out for a burger run last night. Gotta luv 5 Guys fries.

Zack left work on a break and ran over to Chipotle to get a bite to eat because he remembered you used to go there.  He took one look at the prices and said no, this place is expensive!  I took him to McD and got him two $1 sandwiches.  I hope you are getting better at budgeting.

Nothing else too exciting here this week. Keep working hard. We are praying for you and your investigators everyday. We love you lots and are super proud of you! Our mission chart on the fridge has two of the three spires full now.  I think one more month and your mission will be 75% over. This is when it really starts flying by, so make sure to take lots of pictures and write in your journal daily. Work super hard... you are a pro now!
Graham:
Family,
Transfers are tomorrow but both my companion and I are staying. Saturday night we made it to Margret's baptism in Oak Harbor. It was so great to see her get baptized and to see the ward swarm her with love.

This week we finally finished helping Br. Grant, our land lord, stack 9 cords of wood! We heard so many jokes and got so much advice for raising kids. He reminds me of Grandpa :) On our drive up to Oak Harbor with him he started talking about all of the stuff he has collected in his garages. He cracked himself up when he said, "I'll beat my kids out of this life. I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they have to get rid of all of this junk!" haha! He converted an upright freezer into a gun safe. He's a really neat guy.

Also this week we taught Jessica who is still being taught by the JW's. She is trying to overcome smoking but smokes about 30 a day. We also taught Ray and Miriam on Thursday about the Law of Tithing. This is one the past Elders held off on teaching them because they don't have too big of an income. Sunday morning we gave them a call to wake them up and remind them about church when Ray told us he doesn't want ot take any more lessons. When I asked him why he told me because he didn't fell like he should learn more or go to church without paying tithing but he can't afford it. I assured him he could still come to church and take lesson without paying tithing and that the lord would help them with there needs if they did pay it. So sadly he dropped us and left us with just Jessica as an investigator.

This next week we made a long list of people to go see and assignments we had been given. We will reward ourselves with bottomless root beer floats from Red Robins if we succeed or will cut our next emailing period an hour short if we don't finish it all. Also this week we plan on spending more time with members and asking for friends we could teach. This ward is pretty great with fellowshipping and giving us referrals.

That's about all this week. I still can't get eggs by themself to go down me and Br. Grant won't share his eggs. Also at Chipotle I would get a kids meal or a burrito if the manager gave me a gift card there as a reward.

Have a great week!

Finishing the wood stack and getting $10 of free milk delivered. :) At the fair we went to, they had a $10 off your first order of milk! I got one that was 6% instead of 2. Yum!

Dad:
Great to hear Margret was baptized and you got to go!  Sounds like you are doing great.  Keep up the good work.  Speaking of work: 9 cords of wood??  That is a crazy lot of wood.  We will have to let Grandpa know just how much work it is messing with wood so that he won't try to put in a wood fire water heating system in the future!

Have a great day!  Get out and enjoy it.

Love,
Dad
