Dear Elder Grandson,
Rain, rain is going away! A cool front is coming in tomorrow and
less humidity and 80 degree weather, YAHOOOOO! We are going to hire a
young man to help us do some of the yard work (trim trees, paint fence, work on
house some more, repaint fire pit area) this week. Remember you and I
painted the fire pit area the last time it was done. You have been having
really warm weather there. Is it smoky in your area? There are a lot of
wild fires in Oregon and some in Washington. Ann says it is smoky where
she is.
The pictures you sent last week were great. You really dumped the
water and ice on you. It is so nice to hear the members are good to
you. We do all we can with missionaries here in hopes people in your ward
will help you. It is so wonderful how the Lord blesses all of us to
further his work. Grandpa went out with the elders this past week and
then fed them and we will feed the other set on Wednesday. I
hope they continue to help you so when the weather gets bad there you won't
have to ride the bikes. How were the root beer floats? How many
times did you go get them and where?
We are going to Houston to VA tomorrow. Grandpa has two
appointments then we are going to your house and see Maddie for her birthday,
Zack and Myka. We haven't been over there for 3 weeks. I can't believe
Maddie will be 15 years old. You kids all grew up so fast. I guess
Myka will be 15 in a blink of an eye. She is going to love to meet you
again. Zack plays with her and she just loves to see him when he
comes home from school.
Larry and his family are all fine. Larry works almost 24
hours a day on cars. Ali stays in Louisiana some during the week.
She works as a life guard in Sulphur at an indoor pool. Aiden and Andi are
growing up fast just like the rest of you. Andi will be 7 in December and
in the first grade. Aiden is 10 and in the 4th grade I think. Where does
time go!!
Not much else going on here. We hope you have another great
week and find more investigators to keep you so busy that time will fly
by. Our prayers are always with you. Keep up the good work.
Love you lots,
Grandpa & Grandma
