Sep 22

Dad:
Elder Feidler,
Another week gone by and now your sister turns 15!  Tomorrow (Monday the 22nd) is Maddie's birthday. 15 years old and ready to drive.  Friday night she had a couple of friends spend the night and she had a cake.

She had fun watching movies and playing. I can't believe it's time to teach her to drive. She has finished the first 6 hours of drivers ed studying and is ready to go get her permit. Now if we can only figure out how to answer the question on the application about her hair color!  Red, blonde?

Myka got some new toys this week that Chelle borrowed from someone at church. She is having lots of fun.

I have had a sore back all week and still recovering from the bike wreck. No biking for me this week.

Zack didn't have to work as much this week. But he still got a paycheck on Friday.
Here he is feeding it to the ATM.

Today was our Stake conference.  It was nice to get to sleep in. Maddie and Zack went with your mom last night to Uncle David's daughter's wedding.  (Mary Ann)

Zack also got a new cell phone yesterday and he joined our AT&T plan instead of free loading on Nana's plan.  He was resistant to get an iphone as he is just different and weird!  So I think he is happy with the Nokia Lumia smart phone he got. It is a Windows 8.1 phone so it reminds him of the Kinn phone he had been using.  Plus it has an FM radio so he is happy.

We have been getting a lot of rain here the past week. How's your weather been?  I hope you are continuing to have lots of success.  I saw Ray at Pena's Donut Heaven on Friday morning and he said he got to tour Temple Sq in Salt Lake and spent a week out there. He went to the U of H vs BYU game too.  BYU won!  His business has been doing really well. He asked about you.

I tried to wait in line Friday to get a new iPhone 6 Plus. But I was too far back in the ATT line. So I went to Best Buy and was first in line but they got zero of the plus model.  So I will just have to wait. I'm  #1 on their list if they get any.

We miss and love you lots. Keep up the good work and let us know if you need anything.

Love,
Dad

PS Look! I just tried to braid Myka's hair! Lol

Graham:
Family,
It has been a busy / rough week. We were busy with non missionary work and had to cancel some of our appointments. On Wednesday we drove to Mill Creek for an interview for my companion and the mission president. Then after that we were told to go to Everett to Pep Boys to get our car checked out. We stopped by there Wednesday to see if they could squeeze us in. Sadly they said no and set up an appointment for us to drive back to Everett Saturday morning. We showed up Saturday morning and they told us they had deleted our appointment with no reason why, which left us sitting there for an hour and a half before they could get the car in to look at it. They had recently put new tires on the car at a zone conference but two of the wheels were bent up from other Elders running into curbs. The axle also makes a weird sound when you make a turn in it. After them writing us a quote for about $900 of repairs we left with no repairs done. The car has 45,000 miles on it so the mission will sell it in 5,000 miles so they will just let the problems go...

Then we had the housing coordinators come over this week and steam clean our carpets to get mold out and replace our furniture with mold free stuff.

On the missionary side of things this past week we taught 10 more members the four step becoming an everyday missionary flyer. Yesterday we found out that every Sunday in relief society they have a moment where members are able to share missionary experiences with others. Usually they struggle to share one but this week they shared 5!

This week we taught Sheryl and one of her friends Chuck. On our next lesson with her she wants to invite her sister so we will have Sheryl, Connie (her daughter), Chuck, and her sister! :) Also next Sunday is our ward's primary program so we have committed all of our investigators to attend. Lots of the primary kids are inviting their friends and families. With all of the new move ins to our ward and also the non members coming next Sunday we will probably have to open up the gym to fit everyone.

I sent Maddie a birthday letter in the mail that will hopefully get there today or tomorrow!

Jessica, one of our other investigators, has really committed to stop smoking. She is slowly doing better and better and came up with a day that she will smoke her last one. Also we asked her what else she thought she could do to help her stop. That's when she said "I've felt like I just need to set aside 30 mins to kneel down and pray for more faith and help with it." This week she has committed to doing that. We and the members of the ward will be keeping daily contact with her this week.

That's about all of the excitement going on here!
Hope ya'll have a wonderful week! And happy birthday Maddie!!
