Dear Elder Grandson,
We are thankful to have you serving the Lord in Washington. We
have so many things to be thankful for and the gospel is the most important
blessing we have because we know that we can live with our Heavenly Father
again. We are going to your house for Thanksgiving. Do you have a place to go
the eat on Thanksgiving yet?
This past week has been a hard one for me. We got the report from
my MRI to the doctor and then he wanted to see the film so we had to overnight
them to him. He got them on Thursday and we haven't heard from him. All I
can do is lay around and do nothing. I went to church today and that was a
mistake because I was in so much pain. We are going to call the office
tomorrow and see what is going on. I was hoping to have the surgery
before Thanksgiving. Hopefully things will get better soon.
Grandpa had a canned goods drive for the missionaries here and the
members brought 80 some cans for them to divide up between 4 sets. They
were so excited. We are going to do another one in December but that one
will be for the missionaries to give to those they come across that need food.
I think Grandpa started something good.
We hope you are being guided to the special people that are
waiting to hear the Gospel. Pray and follow the Spirit, it will come. So
glad you have a car again, it will help you get to those waiting to hear what
you have to say. Have a great week and keep up the good work.
We love you,
Grandpa & Grandma
