Dear
Elder Grandson,
Wow,
what a week! We are so cold then warm and now it is going to get even
colder than last week. We had rain, freezing rain and up by Jasper had 3
inches of snow Friday. All highways were closed and schools too. Today it
was 67 degrees. Tomorrow night it will start warm and get very cold with
freezing rain and we might get an inch of snow on Tuesday. What a roller
coaster. Then turn warm again with rain. Where is summer? I bet you are
thinking the same thing. You have been in the 40's and that is warmer
than we were most days. It stayed 27 to 30 degrees for 2 1/2 days.
Enough!
How
was your week? Did you get the package? Wow, we were really glad for you to
have nine people out to church. I hope you could teach them all a lesson
or two this past week. How many came out today? We have three sets of
missionaries and one set has 3 in our ward. They hardly ever have
any investigators at church. They have had about 3 baptisms the past
three months though.
Grandpa
wants to know if you are keeping a journal and if you are keeping names and
addresses of people on your mission so you can maybe look them up years later.
I think your Dad did.
I
was suppose to go to your house tomorrow and stay with Zack and Maddie, but
your mother is off work on Tuesday and Wednesday so they are going to stay with
her. I was looking forward to being with them. Your Dad &
Chelle are in Branson, MO on a business trip. They took Myka with them. We
hardly do anything with Zack and Maddie anymore. They never
come over here except on a holiday. Maybe they will venture over this way in
the summer now that Zack drives.
We
hope you have a great week. We are all fine here. Keep up the good
work. Our prayers are with you always.
Lots
of Love,
Grandpa
& Grandma
Happy
Birthday Grandpa!!!
It
is still pretty cold up here! It is suppose to get colder and rain the rest of
the week. That's what I've heard. I got your package!! Lots of great snacks in
there! Also the new headlight is so bright! I feel like I'm riding around with
brights on. haha Thank you, thank you! This past week we taught 16 lessons! And
Sunday we had 7 investigators at church. We are really staying busy. In our ward we only have my companion and me for missionaries! Wish we had some more to
help with the work! We have three baptisms scheduled for Feb. 9th. I have been
keeping a journal but it has been a while since I have written in it.
I
love and miss ya'll so much!

Feidler
