Grandma & Grandpa - Feb 3

Dear Elder Grandson,
Just think, you will soon be out a year.  It has gone by so fast.  We are so proud of you and miss you.  Things are going good here.

Well, your Sea Hawks won last night.  Big celebration going on in Seattle for their first time to play and win the Super Bowl.  It was a boring game because they were so far ahead.  We had the Clarks and another couple from the car club out and ate pizza and ate too much because the game was so boring.

I see where your Dad has sent you a set of fenders.  Hope they fit your bike and will help. Are there members that can help you put them on or do you have any tools. Do you need a leather-all, tools that fold up like a pocket knife?

Do you think you will get transferred next week.  We have 7 elders in our ward and one is getting transferred tomorrow.

We are going into town to do some running today and we told the elders we would take them at noon and get them something to eat.  Do you get meals from the members enough?  Does your money go to the end of the month?  I guess I ask you too much but I worry about your eating.

We are going Tuesday, tomorrow, to Houston.  Grandpa has a VA appointment for his eyes and then on the 19th he is having cataract surgery on his right eye.  They did one years ago on the left eye.  We will go by your house and see the kids and your Dad and Chelle.  I wish we lived closer.  Myka is growing so fast.  We missed you kids growing up and now Myka too.

Well, I won't keep you.  We have had some nice warm (70) weather and now it is cold again.  Winter is not over yet. We hope you are staying warm.

Can't wait to hear how many were out at church and how many lessons you taught last week.  You and your companion are doing a great work for the Lord.  We pray for you each day and that you are finding good people wanting to hear the gospel.  You will be blessed for all your good works.  Keep going and never give up.  Are your baptisms still on schedule?

We love you so much,
Grandpa & Grandma

Elderly Feidler's, haha but young in spirit!

This past week was another great one! We reached mission standards with our numbers for lessons and church attendance. We have three baptisms scheduled next Sunday and one the Sunday afterwards! The weather here is freezing though! This week is supposed to be really cold!! After the Sea Hawks won, everyone started screaming and honking their horns and lighting fireworks. Last night was a crazy night. I'm excited to finally get a fender just in time for some snow! I have some tools in the apartment to work on the bike. Our members seem to be really stepping up there game. Probably because my companion keeps telling everyone they hate him and they start feeling bad for him. Last month was the first month I had $8 left at the end of the month. Usually I'm broke a week or two before the end of the month.

I love and miss ya'll so much!
