Jan 13

Elder Feidler,

How has your week been?  Still really busy?  It has been a history making week here.  Zack passed his Driver's Test!!!!! And is now legal to let me sleep in as he goes to seminary.  He did a great job and only lost a few points on left hand turns.   He drove my new Mini for the test since it is an automatic.   On Friday it was his first day to drive and he decided not to come home from school but to go meet Thomas and friends after school.  He is free like a bird now. I keep mentioning a job to him.
Myka has learned how to open drawers and empty the contents of the drawer on to the floor.  She is so helpful.  She can also unfold clothes really well.
I took Zack and Maddie to a Stake Dance over in Sugarland last night. They had fun.

It has been beautiful and warm here.  Yesterday was sunny and in the seventies.  I installed a Mini sport link trailer hitch system on my new Mini and then went on a 22 mile bike ride.  Chelle tracked me and met up with me for the last few miles to ride with her new bike.  I was way worn out.  It had been a long time since I rode.  I was averaging over 20 miles per hour near the beginning when there was a tail wind.  But at the end there was a head wind and I had a mile with an average of only 8 mph.  My bottom and knees hurt so bad!

Zack says you're AWESOME!  He is just sitting beside me and adding jailbreak apps to his iPod.
Chelle, Myka and I are going to Branson, Missouri in two weeks from today for the Little Tikes Commercial annual sales meeting. We are staying a the Cedar Lodge.  It is owned by the Bass Pro Shop people.  We will be there Sunday through Wednesday.

Chelle just made banana bread.  Wish we could give you a slice.

How's the new companion, Elder Rice?  Are you guys working well together?  Do you play the fiddle while he cooks rice?  Send us a picture of the two of you.  Is it a David and Goliath companionship again?

I love that Lotus you sent pics of.  Will he let you drive it home at the end of your mission?

Today was amazing for me to get home by noon from church.  I only had Bishopric meeting before church.  I know it's rough going into church while it is light and coming out and it is dark.

I made an executive decision and ordered you a nice new suit from Mr. Mac Suits.  You should have received it on Friday.   It has two pairs of pants and they are supposed to be good for missionaries.  I hope it fits! Grandpa and Grandma helped pay for it too.  Now ride carefully and protect it.  No riding on ice and snow.

If it is a really bad fit let me know and maybe we can ship back to exchange.  If you just need the pants adjusted, you can have that done locally.

Keep up the good work and know we are praying for you all the time!  We love and miss you.

Love, Dad

Graham:
Week 38! I think?!

The past week was a difficult one. The week started off great with P-day but when I woke up Tuesday I started throwing up! I got the flu :( Luckily I was able to rest for the next two days. By Thursday I felt like I had enough energy to work again so I hopped on my bike and started pedaling just in time for the rain! :) Towards the end of this last week it poured! TEXAS sized rain drops fell from the sky. Even with all of the waterproof items, I was soaked. My shoes were filling up with water. Thankfully lots of people let us in during the rain and we had some great success!

Sorry I haven't taken many pictures lately.  I will send some next week. I'm sure you didn't want to see pictures of puke.

Zack is awesome! Great job with the driving test! You got to drive Dad's new Mini!? The car situation in our mission is getting worse. We aren't getting new cars any time soon. We are at about 50 cars for 250 missionaries. Salt Lake City told us that we needed to send them 10 of our cars so very soon we will be down to 40 cars in the mission! Doesn't look like I'll have a car for the rest of my mission.

The bike I have been riding that one of our investigators gave to us has a computer that says how fast your travelling. There are times when I get up to 20 mph going uphill! Biking for the past 4 months is making my legs stronger. My cardio is still pretty terrible and recently I have been having some sharp pains in the bottom of my ribs. Hopefully that goes away.

The suit you sent is great! Thanks.

I love and miss ya'll a ton!
