Dear Elder Grandson,
Wow, you have now officially been out for 9 months. How
are things going? You have a baptism scheduled February 1st? Great. Do you think
you will be there then? When are transfers again? Tell us where your
companion is from. Did you get the new suit? Hope it fits.
You sure are getting a lot of rain. We hope those new
gloves are keeping your hands warm and dry. We have finally got back to
normal temps. Grandpa & I are finally feeling back to normal and not sick.
Not much going on here. We ran the roads almost everyday
this past week. Thursday we spent 7 hours at the Silsbee dealership
having them put on a remote start and a trailer hitch on the KIA. We are
really liking it. It has a heated steering wheel and heated seats.
We are so proud of Zack to get his license. It has
been a long time coming!
We will probably start a new box for you this week. Do
you need anything you didn't get for Christmas? Do you eat at home a lot
or are the members feeding you well? I know we have so many
questions. I wish we would have written down what to ask you at
Christmas. We were so excited to see you that our minds went blank.
Aunt Ann and Marlene are in Roseburg , Oregon .
That is where Marlene's daughter lives. They have an apartment and
Marlene is staying there until May or June and Ann is going back and forth
because she has Stake Relief Society President things to do. They are
thinking of moving to Oregon
at some point for good. It is way south of Portland and you.
Not much to talk about on this end. We sure miss you
and love you. Keep up the good work. They say a mission is one of
the best times of your life, so enjoy every moment. It would have to be
because you are living so close to the Lord all the time. We pray for you
daily and know you are doing what you are suppose to do at this time of your
life.
Lots of love,
Grandpa & Grandma
The past 9 months have flown by! My area is still really
good. We are staying busy. For the baptism on Feb 1st I should still be here.
I think transfers are soon after that though. My companion is from Arizona in a small town
called Cottonwood. He has some crazy redneck stories. He was also the quarterback for his football team in high school. He is a missionary that came out
when he was 18. He's a pretty cool guy and we are teaching together pretty
good.
The new suit is great! Thank ya'll so much! With as much
rain as we have had lately anything with the words waterproof on it was
soaked. Thankfully people have dryers to throw the wet stuff in for us!
:)
I can't think of much I need. I could use a mud flap on the
back of my bike so it doesn't throw mud on my coats. Also could use a new
headlight for my bike. Mine isn't very bright and new batteries aren't helping.
I did buy a light for the back of my bike that is very bright and flashes so
people don't hit me from the rear.
Love,
Elder Feidler
