Oct 21

Dad:
Graham,

How's it going on the bike?  Did you get the rain coat and gloves?  Will they work?

Been another exciting week here. I turned 44 on Thursday. We had Grandma & Grandpa over to eat and celebrate with me. We also invited the Elders to share the giant pizza!

I got new jeans and garments for my birthday & $!

I've been working on my phone booth. I did some more welding and some paint stripping.

I went and looked at new MINIs Saturday night. Found an orange on at Mini of the Woodlands.
I test drove it but did not buy it.

That's about all I know here.  How's the missionary work going in the new area?  Pics of you and the new companion cycling yet?  Send some.

We miss and love you!!  Have a great week!  Make sure to write everyone.
Dad

Graham:
Happy birthday!!! sSorry I didn't get a card out to you in the mail. I ran out of stamps and couldn't afford a card haha. Wish I could have been there to split that giant pizza. I heard from Grandma and Grandpa that they took the missionaries to a rock concert! So yesterday I gave a talk in Sacrament without writing anything down. I even talked for ten minutes! Also church started 40 minutes early because they just added more area to our ward.

We are having a hard time finding places though. In my last area the ward mission leader had bought us a GPS for the area. In this area we are without a GPS.

I got the gloves and rain coat and they are both working great! Thanks :))

Got a lot of potential investigators but none of them are moving forward too quickly. We went to Fred Meyers last week on our bikes to grab an ice pack because my neck/back was killing me from the shoulder bag. When we walked out someone had snipped the bike lock and was about to walk off with our bikes but we had scared them away. We didn't catch them :( My companion had his $600 bike stolen. I had to buy a bike from the mission office for a $100.

Besides that all is well. I can't wait to make that chili for the cook off.

Love and miss ya'll,
Elder Graham Feidler

Dad:
Ah, I found your email. It went to the iPad.  Sounds like you need a good lock and GPS!  Or at least a paper map.

We are feeding the Elders today. They are getting Italian pasta, bread and peach cobbler.

Keep up the good work. Take pictures and send lots of them to us.

Love ya, dad

Graham:
We have a paper map but it doesn't have all of the streets on it. We heard from a seventy last week but we were not approved for social media or iPads in our mission.

Dad:
That"s too bad, iPads would be nice.  Good luck and keep the rubber side down.  $100 bike; I bet that's interesting.
Just stop and ask for directions. It's a great way to do street contacting.
