Dad:
Graham,
How's it going? Getting nervous about a possible transfer? It will be an awesome new opportunity.
It was a great general conference yesterday. They even seemed to address all the hot
items like Priesthood for the men only, same gender marriage and keeping God's
commandments as the higher law even when the country's laws may say something is legal.
The other email I sent from my iPad had some pictures. We received our English phone booth this week. I hope to clean it up, paint and restore it so we can put it in the living room. It is very heavy (about 1700 lbs.) When we unloaded it we used 8ft long 2x4s as pry bars to lever it up and put dollies under it. I had 5 dollies under it and it killed 2 of them as we pushed it out of the trailer. I have removed the door and about 1/3 of the glass so far. I'm trying to track down the right color of paint and I have got the neighbor with all the wood working equipment to make me a new wood door for it as the old one was rotten.
Cooler weather also arrived yesterday. This morning it is 57 degrees as I
wait outside of seminary and type this. On Mondays I drive the car pool to
Manvel High school. Today the high will be the low 80s. I'm pretty happy
about the cooler weather since I have lots of work to do in the garage on the
phone booth.
This week is the National Parks and Rec show and it is in Houston. So I will be attending it on Tuesday & Wednesday at the George R Brown Convention Center. Well we still miss and love you lots! Keep up the good work and we will be praying for you. Thanks for the post card. That's a lot of trees there. I hope you are feeling better. Try to get a message to us of where you are being transferred to. Love you Dad
Graham:
Hey
there family!
For
some reason the library was closed yesterday so they are giving us time today!
I am being transferred. It's been a busy last few days saying my goodbyes. My
new area is
MILL CREEK
(Charter Club S-302) BIKE
Elder
Logan Goodman, Elder Graham Feidler
It's
a bike area!! :/ I get to bike in the cold rain. Not too excited about that. I
will be in an apartment complex that has a racquetball court! It is hard to
leave everyone after being there for 6 months. I will probably be the junior
companion still. I think my companion will be the district leader.
This
past week we did a ton of service. Sharon and Alvie want a roof over the
chicken coop so we built a huge roof!
Sweet telephone booth and convertible mini! :) Can't believe so many cool projects are
going on now that I'm out of the house. I'm feeling a lot better.
Love
and miss ya'll!
