Grandma & Grandpa - Oct 21

Hi Elder Grandson,
I got my computer fixed. Hurray!  How did things go this past week?  Did you get the package we sent you?  You should have gotten it on Saturday.  Hope you like all the goodies. Are you staying warm?  How is the apartment?  We have so many questions!  I hope you have time to answer some of them.

We had an uneventful week.  Just work around the house and yard.  It has rained so much, the yard is hard to do.  We leave for North Carolina Wednesday and the yard is too wet to mow.  It has slowed down growing since we are only in the 70's during the day and 50's at night.  It is nice not to have so much humidity.

Last night our Credit Union had a 60th Birthday Bash and we planned to go.  As we were leaving the house the missionaries called and their dinner appointment was cancelled and they wanted to come out.  Well, we told them to meet us at the Port Neches Park and they could go with us.  There are three of them.  We ate hotdogs and barbq sandwiches, chips, drinks and had Blue Bell ice cream.  The music was rock and they really laughed at that.  They said they hadn't heard that kind of music since they came out on their mission.  It was all good, but the weather was really cold.  The wind was blowing off the water and it was about 50 degrees.  Elder Halverson was one of the elders.

We are all fine.  Andrea (Andi) went out on the field at the Orangefield Football game friday to dance with the marching girls.  We went over and saw that. Thats about all we have done.

We are always glad to hear from you each week.  We pray for you each day and are so proud of the work you are doing for the Lord, spreading his kingdom.  We did finish our home teaching and visiting teaching, so that is done for the month.
Be careful on those bikes.  Ann says that the missionaries in their ward do not have bikes or cars.  They have to walk or rely on members to take them everywhere.  That would be hard too.

Tell us what you want in your next package.  Would you like a pull over long sleeve sweater to wear under your suit coat? What size?  I saw some light weight ones at JCPenney.  Let us know what you can use.  I don't want to send something you won't wear.

We love and miss you so much.
Love & Hugs,
Grandpa & Grandma

Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
Yay! You got your computer fixed. This past week was pretty good. We had an investigator at church and several lessons throughout the week. Also did some service and helped a lady move. I got your package! Yum! The KitKats made my day! :) Trying to stay warm! Might have to get some long john, haha. The apartment is pretty gross. Hasn't been deep cleaned in a while so I've been working on that in my spare time. Wish I has Blue Bell ice cream out here! Nothing compares to it! Sounds like you guys are doing great too! I don't think I'll need a sweater. I'm staying pretty warm so far with a suit coat. We have a Mc Donalds and Jack in the Box in the area. I'm doing pretty great overall. Last week we heard from Paul V Johnson of the Seventy who didn't release iPads to our mission. Still waiting for that to happen. Maybe we'll get them in 6 months.

Love and miss ya'll,
Elder Graham Feidler
