Dad:
Hi another week has gone by. Not too much going on here.
Maddie has been practicing for a school play. We had stake conference this weekend. Myka has pulled herself up to a standing position at the side of her crib. She's growing up so fast. I had to lower her mattress so she won't be able to get out. Zack has been driving your car when he's with your mom and the van in the morning to seminary and the old mini. Trying to get more driving hours in. I'm still working on the phone booth. I got it sand blasted to strip it all down and started priming and painting it. I tried to stand it up in the garage but it is too tall. I hope it is going well in your area. Anyone progressing? The missionaries invited us to each read the scriptures every day. They then txt us each day to check on progress. Going well. Keep up the good work!! We love you. I'll send some pics from the ipad. Dad
Graham:
It
has been another week! The work is picking up! We had a lady at sacrament that
just randomly showed up with her kids interested about the church. Also we have
several progressing investigators. On Friday night we had the ward trunk or
treat / chili cook off. Our chili didn't win a prize because they didn't have
an award for the hottest chili but it was the first chili to run out. I barely
got any of it!! The trunk or treat was a big success. We had over 200 people
there with lots of less actives and some investigators! We thankfully get a
ride to church every Sunday with a ward mission leader. We are getting fed more
often now! :) Always staying busy. On Saturday we had three moves. This next
Thursday we are getting a new barbecue place in town. It's called Dickey's. A
member from our ward is opening the place and said we can come by anytime and
get free food!!!! The weather here has been pretty nice. All of the leaves are
changing into to many colors of oranges and reds and falling down everywhere.
Everyone is saying this winter we should get a lot of snow. I'm excited for
that!
I'm
doing pretty great overall. My companion and I are getting along great and
teaching everyone we can. I hope ya'll are doing just as good back home.
Love
and miss ya'll,
Elder

Dad:
BBQ.
Yum! I'm eating some now. So your chili was liked. Did you do
cornbread on top?
Get pictures with the leaves. Rain much? We love
and miss you
Graham:
We were going to put the cornbread on top but instead we
just smoked it and the steak in a smoker. We did put jalapenos in the cornbread
and lots of cheese on top. The cornbread also ran out first. I guess people
love cornbread from a box. Will take a picture! Not too much rain yet.
Monday Night
Dad:
Sounds cold! That will be fun riding a bike in. Be
careful! I think it is in the lower 80s here today. It's supposed to
rain on Thursday (Halloween) and get cooler. Then the highs will be lower
70s.
Enjoy the winter! It will be awesome. Keep up the good
work
Luv, Dad
