Dear Elder Grandson,
How are things going? Are you sick again? Hope
not. You have 3 baptisms today. How wonderful to think that you have
brought souls unto Christ. We are so proud of you doing missionary work. Your
sacrifice will always be worth it. We can't wait to get pictures and hear all
about it.
We hope you aren't transferred this week so you will be
there for next week's baptism. Are you ready for a transfer? Do you like that
area?
We see that you have been getting snow. How much did
you get? Be careful on the bike, that's a new suit! Just kidding.
We are doing okay. We went to the Houston VA
and went by your house Tuesday. Everything seems good over there. Zack
& Maddie are maturing and Myka is just growing so fast and is so smart. I
thought she would be walking by herself by now, but she's just not ready.
Not much going on here. We are sooo ready for
spring. Everything has frozen and turned brown and looks ugly. We
have a lot of work to do around this place. I hope we have a good long spring
and not be too hot.
We had Andi last night and about 10:30 she starting throwing
up and was sick so I had to call Larry & Kim to come and get her. She
likes going to church with us. I was up till l:30 cleaning everything up.
I had forgotten what it was like to have a sick child.
Grandpa finally got in to see a doctor for his back. He had
two MRI's and 5 Xrays on his back and neck Friday. He has been in pain
since the wreck.
Well, I say I am going to write a letter to you
but there really isn't much to tell you. We stay in the house because it
is cold or it is warmer but raining. We love you and miss you and pray
for you each day. Stay healthy and warm and keep doing the wonderful job
you are doing on your mission. We wonder how it is going each day, so know
we are thinking about you.
Lots of Love,
Grandpa & Grandma
Dear Gma and Gpa,
This past week has been an amazing one. We got so much done and the three baptisms we scheduled for yesterday all happened. Not only did
they happen but we had such a big turn out we barely all fit in the
chapel.
I am thankfully not too sick right now. Just a runny nose
from being in the cold. I got your Valentine's Day card! <3 Thank you! I
haven't heard if I'm getting transferred yet but will hopefully find out soon.
I don't want to leave this ward. Everyone in the ward is so excited about
getting their friends to take lessons with us because they see us bringing so
many people to church and having people get baptized.
Saturday we have another baptism but we aren't sure if we
will be able to have it because there are too many people that want to get
baptized that day. The building with the baptismal font is all booked up. We
might have to do it in a muddy cold lake.
Miss and love you guys!
