Feb 17

Dad:
Elder Feidler,

So I guess we won't be hearing from you today since it is Presidents' Day.

Still, it was a fun and exciting day around our house. In the middle of my sleep last night I heard the back door open and the alarm chime. It didn't register what it was with me yet as I was asleep. Then I heard Zack's Mini start up and drive away!  So I rolled over to look at my clock as I had not heard my 5 AM alarm go off and it said 2:41 AM!!!!   I freaked out and ran out to the kitchen and then the front door to see the Mini tail lights off in the far distance.  I checked Zack's room and he was gone.

I woke Chelle to see if she had any clue why he might have left and she did not.  So I hopped in our van and went chasing after him.  I was afraid he was sleep walking / driving.

So I sped off toward the church and ran 2 stop lights only to see him heading back towards home on South Fork Drive by the Ford dealer and Chevron gas station.  I did a u-turn in the van and pulled up beside him at the Hwy 288 stop light.  He rolled down his window and said, "I know... wrong time." :-)

Crazy that kid is!!!  He woke up in the middle of the night and thought his clock said 5:02a (Really 2:05a). So he got ready and left for seminary.

Totally freaked us out.

That's it.  Hope to hear from you tomorrow.

We need pictures!  Where are the baptism pics of Tonya, Nick and Winter?  Did you have another baptism on Saturday?  How was this week?  We need back story on these converts too?  Did you teach them from the start?   I can't believe we are over half way through February!  Your half way point is coming up fast.

All is well here.  Did you get your Valentine package from us?  It was just a bunch of junk food.  Hope you didn't eat it all at once. You might be sick.

Here's our week.
Chelle sewing outfit for Cheesy Prom.
Posing for Cheesy Prom.
Brother Livesay and the band.
Myka likes Gringo's ice cream.
And makeup.
Zack washing the classic.

Graham:
Hello family! What an amazing past week we had! Saturday we had a baptism for Richard Torres, Stephanie son. Stephanie is the one that walked into church one Sunday back in November and really liked what she saw. We had a pretty good turn out for Richards baptism and got 2 nonmember investigators to go and see how it works. Stephanie daughter who at first was against her mom joining this church came to the baptism and also to a relief society activity this past week. We hope to start teaching her soon.
Riding our bikes to the library this morning was a pain... It has been pouring down raining for the last couple of days, but today as we started to ride it started to hail on us :( That didn't stop us from making it here though! :) I am soaked from head to toe though! haha
Thank ya'll for the valentines day package!! I didn't eat all of the candy myself. I shared it with everyone I came across :) The less active guy that we helped shovel snow taught me how to make a killer stir fry! He use to be a chef at a casino and he makes some amazing food. I'm so thankful for the people I am able to work with and the bond created.
It sounded like you were going to have to start locking/chaining Zack to his bed so he doesn't sleep walk/drive. There is this family that we our working with that likes to bible bash us in a nice way. He is the one that invited us in on a cold day while we were tracting for some hot chocolate. He is also the guy we went to his church one Sunday morning so he'd come to ours afterwards. He has questions on how we lived with god before this life and he doesn't think that god is our father in heaven because in the bible it talks about as you become converted to Jesus and accept him, He adopts you. So he thinks we are adopted sons and daughter of god. Also the scripture ion Corinthians that talks about the three degrees of glory, he thinks it is talking about our physical and spirtual bodies like it talks about a few verses down.

40 aThere are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the bcelestial is one, and the glory of the cterrestrial isanother.
41 There is one glory of the asun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the bstars: for one star cdiffereth fromanother star in dglory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown inacorruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in aglory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a anatural body; it is raised a bspiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
Did you run into many people that brought up things like this?

Hope you guys have a great week!
Love and miss ya'll!

Dad:
Great week it sounds like!  I had ran into a few bible bashing people on my mission.  We never got anywhere. It is better to just bear testimony and move on.  If they are looking for scriptural proof of everything, there is just too many ways for them to interpret it.

Stay dry!!   And send PICTURES from the baptisms.

Great to hear from you.  We love you!!

Dad:
Great Pictures!  That's a lot of snow!!!  Is that picture from your apartment balcony??

Graham:
Yep! It is.
