Dear Elder Grandson,
Wow, it was just a week ago we got to see you. Time flies!
You looked great and we are so proud of you. We got home from Indiana on Tuesday night
late. We drove straight home. It took 16 hours. Grandpa
bought a bunch of farm equipment (plow, disc, and two others) and we had to
rent a u-haul to get it home so he had to drive it all by himself. I
don't pull trailers.
We have been so busy with extra things since we got home we
haven't started to paint yet. A man we home teach died the night we got
home and we went to the viewing and funeral and I helped with the food after
the funeral so that took time.
Last night was a dance recital that Ali and Andi were in. It
was 3 hours long. It was so good because the theme was Candy Land and
they played and danced to a lot of 50's music. Grandpa didn't go. He
couldn't sit that long or he would fall asleep.
We hope to get started painting the house this week. We are
going to do it ourselves, I guess. We asked if there was any youth
that wanted a job and there weren't any at church today. The
adults had to pass the sacrament. Maybe one of Larry's students can help
us. School gets out in 2 weeks.
We sent you a Walmart gift card on Saturday. Be looking for
it.
Keep on keeping on and find all those people out there
looking for the gospel. Do you have any baptisms scheduled?
We are probably going over to your house on Friday to attend
Maddie's choir performance and stay for the ward crawfish boil on Saturday.
Next year you might be home for it unless you are already going to school.
We love and miss you. Hope you have a place to go for Memorial Day
the 26th. Oh, that's Monday after this next weekend.
Love you much,
Grandpa & Grandma
Grandma and Grandpa!
Ya'll have busy lives! Hopefully Dad forwards you my emails
I write him. Sadly we had zero investigators attend church this Sunday. During
this past week we did find 3 new investigators so now we are hoping to get them
at church this next Sunday. Jake's baptism is scheduled for June 7th but
he is being held up by the Book Of Mormon and Joseph Smith so please pray for
him and his family. He is from the south and our bishop has asked him to set up
a crawfish boil for our ward here :) Also we ate at their house last Sunday
and they had Slap Ya Mama seasoning! :) They are such a great family. This
Friday we have a ward dinner for those who are in or were in the military. It
should be a great event with lots of nonmembers there.
I'll keep an eye out for a letter from ya.
I love and miss ya'll,
-Elder Graham Feidler
