Graham!
Hi, it's already
September. I hope cooler weather comes soon. Still very hot
here. Chelle had some Physical Therapy for her foot this past week.
I got to watch Myka while she was there since the other two kids are back in
school now.
I tried to send Myka
to you, but she didn't understand
Your mom had the baby
this week and she is back home. I don't know much on details but sounds
like it all went well. Kathy picked up Zack and Maddie two nights
to take them up to see her at the hospital.
They are building
some kind of old folks care place at the front of the neighborhood.
They have got the
traffic lights up at CR59 & Southfork Pkwy, but they are not working
yet. I imagine they will wait until the road on the other side is
complete. And it is getting close
Sorry bad pic this
one. looking back from swagger wagon while driving
I had a great month
last month at work and hope I can sell some more this month. I think Zack
and Maddie are liking school. Zack is changing 2 or 3 of his classes to
Pre AP because he was only in the regular classes.
Zack and I have been
working on the little Mini. We drove it to Houston for a Sonic Mini Meet
up. Everyone loved it.
We took the old
speakers from the front of the Lotus and made some mounts to put them in the
dash of the mini. We also ordered online a $30 radio by Dual that docks
an iPod and installed it too.
So here is a picture
of our mini Pooper and Mini Cooper
The latest addition
is side stripes and decals
And that's the
happenings here for the end of August!
When you read this
Monday (if the Library is open, Holiday!) we will be at Larry's house with
Grandma & Grandpa, grilling burgers for Labor Day and going to a gun range
to try out our new 9mm gun.
Keep up the good
work! We love you and are super proud of you. Before you know it 6
months of your mission will be gone.
Love, Dad
Graham:
Hey!
It's Tuesday! :) Library was closed yesterday. This past week was great! We
had a few more lessons but what made it really good is getting a new
investigator! Seems like our ward is getting more excited about sharing the
gospel with others. Also our dinners have been picking up a ton! Last night we
had 5 dinner invites but sadly could only choose one. We washed our car
yesterday and now it's pouring down raining today! Also yesterday we got to work
on a '67 Mustang and a '63 Corvette! I learned a lot of things about restoring
cars yesterday.
Sharon's
daughter is getting married to a LDS man! She got a divorce a few years back
and has been dating this guy for a while. Seems like a great guy and Sharon is
getting more and more interested in the church! Sharon's granddaughter took
two of our chickens to the fair and won two 1st place awards! I guess we are
doing a good job taking care of those birds.
Sadly
the rules are changing in our mission. We are no longer allowed to wear back
packs!! Still haven't heard much new on technology changes but I have a feeling
that we should get news on that in a month. Also we no longer have to wear suit
coats unless it's mission or Sunday meeting. We can also wear tan pants and
sweaters.
Are backpacks allowed?
Backpacks are not allowed. If you need to carry additional
items, you are encouraged to choose shoulder bags that are durable,
professional, and business-like. See examples >
Can't
think of much else that is going on. We did alot of service last week. Even
scrubbed moss off of a roof. This last transfer we got some sisters in our
district! They are spoiled! They got a new 2013 Ford Fusion and a super nice
apartment! I still haven't taken too many pictures or videos... I just always
forget to take my camera with me! That's all I can think of that's going on. I miss y'all a ton.
Love,
Elder
Feidler
