Hi Elder
Grandson,
Wow,
where do the weeks go. We have worked hard here at home this week.
Had to get the yard in shape since I now hire it done but we have not had rain
so it is drying up and I haven't had them come for two weeks. We did it
ourselves and did a lot of cleaning up flower beds and stuff. The well
hasn't worked since we got home from vacation and I need it really bad so
Grandpa looked at it Friday and we had to order a new pump. You ordered
the last one 3 years ago and got a price around $100 this time all I could find
was $200. We need your expertise here.
One set
of 3 missionaries in the ward stopped by tonight. They are the ones
Grandpa goes with to visit a friend of ours that had his name taken off the
roll several years ago. Well, I showed them a picture of you making
cookies that was texted to your dad last week and he said "I know
him, he was at EFY at BYU Idaho in 2011 when I went." He said you're on his Facebook and that you are friends. His name is Zane McTavish Halvorsen. He
went in the mission home on May 10th and this is his first area. He has been
out 4 months. He was one of the missionaries that Grandpa brought back
from transfers when he took the elders to Houston . He has adopted Grandpa as
his Grandpa. We have attached a photo of him sitting on Grandpa's
tractor. Small world LOL!
Did you
get the package we sent. Hope there was something you liked. It
looked like one of the ties we sent you matches the one your companion is wearing in the photo with the cookies. Now you can be
twins.
I hope
the pictures aren't too big. They took to long time to download. I am sending
one from my iPad too.
We love
and miss you. We are always glad to hear from you. You look good in
the picture. Stay happy and keep doing all you can to find people to hear
the gospel.
Love
& Big Hugs,
Grandpa
& Grandma
Hey!
Great to
see Grandpa's taking good care of the missionaries! Tell Zane I said hey! SO
last week I got your package! Should have seen the smile on my face when I
opened the mail box and saw it inside. Thank ya'll so much! Thanks especially
for the book about cleaning. Elder Della Lucia and I need to read that! :) We
have a cleaning check tomorrow so we will be spending today scrubbing our trailer.
The work is continuing to pick up. This week we have members to take with us
every single night to help save us miles for our car and to fellowship and make
friends with our investigators. It is so exciting to watch the happiness the
gospel brings flood into others lives. I love and miss ya'll so much!
Your #1
Grandson,
Elder
Graham Feidler
