Grandma & Grandpa - Aug 12

Hi grandson,
We are in Iowa where the Pickers are from.  We are staying about 3 miles from their place.  Grandpa plans on going there to arrow to see the tattoo lady. We have picked up the tractor today and are about a day ahead of time.  We hope to go to winter quarters in Nebraska on the way home. We have been gone two weeks and two days.  I am ready to be home.  I will write to you and tell you all we have done.  Yesterday we went to Mall of America.  It was neat! 

We are so glad you are doing okay.  Are you still down stairs in the house?  Did you get the letter I mailed to you?  We love and miss you.  May you be blessed in all you do.  We pray for you daily.  We hope you can find someone really inspired too join the church.  It will happen. Just have faith.  Can't wait to hear from you.

Hey Grandma and Grandpa! 

It has been a great past week and I'm looking forward to this week. We have been focusing more and more on less active work in our ward and are now trying to help the members get their home teaching done. We have been told a saved member of the church is just as good as a baptism! Our ward just had girl's camp for the youth in the ward. Many girls invited their friends and now we have one girl who wants to get baptized that we start teaching tomorrow! I can't believe it has already been 4 months! We move back into our trailer on Wednesday. I did get your letter in the mail! I need to write letters today to everyone. Just keep running out of time! Ya'll should have come up to Washington to meet Sharon and Alvie our land lords. 

I love and miss you guys a ton!
