Grandma & Grandpa - Dec 9

Dear Elder Grandson,
How was your week? Did you have the baptism? We are so excited for you. You have brought one soul unto Christ. You will be blessed for it. We are getting ready to see the Christmas Devotional from Salt Lake. I hope you are at a members home or at the church and get to see it.  I always like to hear them at Christmas.  I really haven't done much for Christmas yet except decorate.  I have had a bad cough and just don't want to do anything. We went to Houston for doctors appointments this week and stayed at your house Monday night.  We put Maddie out of her room and she went to your mother's to stay. I must have caught the cough at the doctor's offices. I was afraid I gave Myka a cold or something because she ran a fever for three nights. But the doctor said she was okay. We went to the appraisal district to get our taxes lowered on the property in Orangefield and they did lower them, in half! We couldn't believe it. So happy.
Grandpa went to Port Arthur Post Office Friday about 4:00 and when he pulled in Port Acres he only went two blocks and a man in an air conditioning truck ran a stop sign and hit the back of my car on the passenger side and spun him 360 degrees.  Grandpa only irritated his back injuries but no visible injuries.  He was told at the hospital that he has the worst arthritis in his back that the doctor had ever seen.  He gave him pills and sent him home to do nothing for a week.  We don't know yet how bad the car is damaged.  We had to go rent a car so I had something to drive. I hope his insurance will cover it and all the costs to my car.  The man admitted running the sign and got a ticket. Not much else going on here.  We are doing fine.  Didn't go to church today because I was coughing all night and the people at church don't need whatever it is I have and Grandpa needed to lay around too.  It has really been cold here.  I noticed you are in the teens at night and 30's during the day.  I hope the members are helping you out and taking you places.  Are you keeping warm? What do you need?  We will send a beanie in the next package if you don't have one.
I must get a package for Christmas ready this next week.  Surely you can think of clothes or something you need by now. Just let us know.  We could always put money in your account so you can buy clothes. We are having our Family Christmas on Saturday the 21st.  We are going to eat here at home. Do you know if you will be able to Face Time on Christmas Day?  If you know about what time we will try to be at your house to see you. We were so disappointed last week that we didn't get your emails on Monday till that night.  SBC must have been having troubles because of cyber Monday.  We were worried until we realized nothing was going on with SBC mail. Hope you have a good week.  When is the next baptism?  We love and miss you soooo mmuuch! You are in good hands and we pray for you everyday. Keep warm and know we are always thinking of you.
Lots and Lots of Love,

Grandpa & Grandma

Graham:
Burr! Another cold week. We did have the baptism on Saturday which went great! I got to baptize her and my companion gave her the Holy Ghost. It was a great experience. Everyone felt the Spirit so strong. I've been waking up for the last week with a sore throat. Hopefully it is just from the dryness of the air from the electric heaters.

Scary to hear grandpa got in a wreck! Glad to hear he is doing okay. How bad was the accident? I have a very warm jacket in fact and it keeps me too warm but my toes and ears and fingers are always freezing. Still not really sure what I NEED for Christmas. I see others out there that really need things. I have enough to keep living.

I love and miss ya'll so much,
Elder Graham Feidler
