Elder
Feidler!
Cold
weather blew in here at home and it has been grey and yucky this
weekend. Chelle's friend, Tammy has been visiting us from Oregon this week.
Friday
we went and watched Maddie perform in a school play called "Bridge to
Terabithia" and she did great. They even got 3rd place at UIL on
Saturday with their performance
I'm loving the new car with the MINI connected system and satellite radio. It can even play video on the screen when stopped from an Iphone4S or Ipod. Not Iphone 5......
It
you have a jail broken iPhone 4S you can mirror everything from the phone to the
screen. I may look for one of those.
Always open top. The openometer records how long the top has been open.
Silly gauge... The seats are just cloth sport seats.
Myka
has been sick this week with fever a couple of times and now a snotty nose /
cold with some fever.
Been
a slow work week here for me this week. Next Sunday I get to speak in
church! Drawing inspiration from Christmas Carols.
So
how's it going there?? Did you have a baptism for Stephanie on
Saturday? We sure hope so!
I
know many of the people I taught on my mission were from the more humble
neighborhoods. The others wouldn't listen. In England they
had large government housing neighborhoods called Council Housing and that was
where we had the most success. Just make sure she gets lots of fellowship
from members.
We
are starting to think about Christmas. Your package will most likely be
sent to the Mission Office as the President sent out a letter that said that
was best. We need to know if there is any thing special you need or want
for Christmas. Tell us this week or it may be too late.
Sorry
we didn't chat back n forth last week. Cyber Monday had caused huge email
delays with SBCGlobal. We got your email that night. Zack got his earlier in the day because of the gmail account he used.
We
love you and are super proud of you! Keep up the good work and keep the pedals
attached to the bike! J
Love
you,
Dad

It
has been another cold week here! Saturday we did have a baptism for Stephanie!
She was so excited and couldn't stop smiling! I was the one who got to baptize
her. That was a little nerve racking at the beginning of the meeting but as soon
as I stepped into the water the fear went away and the words came out
perfectly. Only had to dunk her once. She also brought a friend to the baptism
who has been Catholic his whole life but really enjoyed the baptism and also
enjoyed and got emotional at church. The other lessons we taught last week
weren't as busy though because we couldn't find any members to go with us and
it only made it up to the twenty's a few days. The mornings started off in the
teen's and the lake we live on is freezing over! Overall it's been a good week,
just trying not to freeze to death! Also sending packages to the mission office
is a bad idea! We have to bike to the mission office for meetings or to pick up
packages. It is incredibly hard to carry a messenger bag and a package back
home on a bike in the cold rain from the mission office! My companion is the
district leader and all we have in our district are sister missionaries. The
mission is running out of money and can't afford cars so a lot of the elder
missionaries are now on bikes.
Love
and miss ya'll,
Elder

Dad:
Congrats
on the baptism. We will send the package to your apartment then so you don't
have to carry it on a bike. Anything you can think of that you want for Christmas? We love you.
