Dad:
Hi Graham (Elder Feidler) , It's been another busy week here. Work is still busy for me and Chelle has this last week of work before her summer break. She is not going back to be the school nurse next year so hopefully we can find insurance and maybe a part time job for her that works well for all of us. Myka is still growing. She seems quite heavy and has a long torso. Maddie made cupcakes and brownies this past week for the Young Women's spaghetti dinner / fundraising auction. Her cupcakes looked like minions from Despicable Me. I'm going to stick photos in line in this email. Let me know if you can see them ok.
This week I also noticed my car's steering wheel was shaking a lot while accelerating. It was a bad tire. I needed 3 new tires and an alignment! (I got all 4 tires new at Discount & aligned at GoodYear.)
Here's a pic of Chelle & Myka - Grandma is coming over this week to take care of her. Chelle took today off work so she will only have a four day work week.
Looks like your Mom is getting close to buying a house. It is just south of Bailey. They have an inspection tomorrow I think. Our old house on Colleen is for sale! She didn't want to go back there.
That's about all of the news for around here. I hope you are doing well and finding people to teach. We got a pair of jeans and a couple of T shirts in a box and I will send it off this week to you. I saw Robbie's new car down at the Aldi store on Saturday. I went back by later to stop in and he was gone already. Keep up the good work! Of the 3 elders in our ward, two are brand new on their missions. One elder is training two! I love you! Dad
Graham:
Hey! It's Monday again. Machias is starting to feel like home.
Sweet! Love the update! Yesterday (Sunday) was great! We had a few investigators that came to church and also some less actives. The week before we had this lady come for sacrament meeting and we talked her into staying for the next hour. When she got back home her husband could see a difference in her and so she is starting to come every week! On Saturday we had scheduled tracting but didn't know where to go. We said a prayer to have the spirit guide us where we needed to be. We ended up driving to the other side of our boundaries and parking at a members house down a long dirt road. When we starting walking down that long dirt road there was a lady walking her dog towards us. We finally met up with her and ended up talking about a ton of things which eventually ended up at the gospel. She said she had been trying out a few different churches but none of them seemed right and she didn't know what to do. We taught her a little bit about what we believe and the Book of Mormon. She seemed interested and wanted us to come back and teach her! Also she has a neighbor who is taking lessons from the Witnesses so we are going to give her lessons too! I can't wait to go back and teach her!
I'll send a SD card with some videos and pictures soon. Just haven't had the time. We are now driving a Subaru that is all-wheel drive. It's pretty sweet. Also we should be getting some of the new 2013 Ford Fusions in the mission in the next couple of weeks. There is this one family, the Bakers, that drive a Chrysler 300 that they have rebuilt. Now it has 1200 horse power!!!
Anyways this last week started of rough but ended up great!
Dad:
Feels like home! That means you need to be transferred... Just when you get used to everything that is when they often mix it up and you get moved. That's what it seemed like to me. I hope you are feeling better and not sick anymore. Chelle is coming down with a cold / stuffy head and nose right now. I'm sure a lack of sleep and seeing all those sick kids at her school contributed to that. Love, Dad
Graham:
I should be here for at least another 3 months and I'm feeling better but I still get the symptoms every once in a while. I have found a lot of black mold in our trailer... So it's either the mold or allergies.
Dad Wrote: Did you ever get the little photo book I sent through Walgreens?
Graham:
I did!! the photo book is awesome!
Dad:
Did you get a slushy machine?? Still eating good? Any thing else you need in the box we are sending? Thanks for the update! We will share your experiences tonight with the kids at family home evening. Chelle is adding all our emails and pictures to a blog. So you can have a blog book printed at the end of your mission.
Graham:
Haven't got the slushy machine yet bet hope to get that in the next few days! I could use a shammy to get dry after a rain storm. Or if you find any cheap ties I could always use more of those. But besides that I'm doing great!
I love and miss you guys!
I could really use some double sided tape or new scriptures. My pages are falling out
Dad:
I thought you had a second set of scriptures somewhere around here. I'll look. Remember nothing should be added or taken away from the Word! lol
