Elder Feidler,
It was awesome to get a picture emailed to us from Rod Grant. Make sure to tell him thanks. We sure appreciate it. Today was a good Sunday. Chelle made a quiet book for Myka to play with.
I had bishopric mtg, church, ward correlation and PEC meetings. Makes for a long day! Chelle brought a bag of cereal to me to eat as a snack. It was much needed. We had four missionaries in church today. There are three regular Elders together now and a fourth, 17 year old from Bay City, serving a MINI mission for a few weeks.
Speaking of MINI. My mini is due for it's first oil change now. I have it scheduled for Friday. Yesterday I made a sign for the garage.
I figured the sign might be needed in my garage since Zack found something for sale on Craigslist this past week and I bought it.
It's our old Mini! I bought it back!!!
Only this time Zack cannot drive it. It's all mine because the classic car insurance excludes him from driving. I even saw some missionaries taking a picture of me while driving it home from buying it. I was on I-45 on the North side of Houston. About 5 cars took pics of me and one honked and waved. It draws a lot of attention!
It has been another good week at work. I just got another big job on Friday that I thought I had lost to a competitor. They could not deliver in time so I sold them a couple of playgrounds for Barbers Hill ISD primary school.
The jeep's new hood came in this week. I bought it on eBay. Now we just have to paint it. Sounds fun. The old hood had a bunch of dents in it.
That's about all that is going on here. I hope you have a great week! We love and miss you lots.
Teach lots of people!
Graham:
Dear
family,
It
has been a great week here! We found four new investigators and taught ten
lessons. Transfers are next Tuesday! I'm kinda scared for that.
Thank you guys for the cookies! They made my companion and my day.
You
bought the old Mini back?? Didn't you just sell it? haha Did you buy it from
the people you sold it to? Great to hear that work is still going great. Sweet
new sign!
So
this past week I made it a goal to write in my journal every day which I did!
We were able to visit a few less active members this past week who now have
kids that are over the age of 8. Then one of the young women in our ward
invited us over to teach her friend the lessons. We also taught a millionaire
who lives in this big house on the beach front and taught a former
investigator, John.
At
the end of one of our days this week we were street contacting and saw this
rainbow!
Not
to much in pictures this week. haha
Driving
home at 9pm when the sun goes down.
Do I
have any health insurance from home? My companion got some new glasses this
past week so I pulled mine out to start wearing them but realized the lenses
are falling off the frames.
It
has been a great week! Our recent convert ward members came back to town from
vacation this week.
Love
and miss ya'll
-Elder
